Otter Head Base (foaming TPU)

This foaming TPU otter fursuit head base is made for toony otter characters and gives your build a soft, flexible, and beginner-friendly foundation.

The main shell is printed in foaming TPU for flexibility and impact resistance, while the rigid PLA eye frame helps keep the eye blanks secure and properly aligned. It is designed to be forgiving during construction, comfortable during wear, and easier to work with than a fully rigid PLA base.

Fits most adult head sizes around 55–65 cm / 21–25 in head circumference.

Because the base is printed in flexible TPU, small size variations can happen.

DIY vs Assembled

The base is made from several printed parts:

· Muzzle
· Front of head
· Back of head
· Eye mask section
· Ears
· Eye blanks and eye meshes

For the DIY version, all parts come fully printed and cleaned up. You only need to glue them together.

Basic assembly:

· Attach the muzzle to the front of the head
· Glue the eye mask section into the front
· Attach the ears to the back of the head
· Join the front and back sections together

For the assembled version, we glue the base together for you before shipping.

We usually recommend super glue gel for assembly, but hot glue also works well with foaming TPU.

Build Notes

This base is suitable for both first-time makers and experienced fursuit builders. The textured TPU surface helps fur stay in place and works well with hot glue or super glue.
